Check out these photos from Lil Wayne‘s photo shoot with TRUKFIT, which will be used to promote the clothing line.

Weezy can be seen rocking TRUKFIT apparel in all of the pictures, but that should come to no surprise to you as he has been wearing TRUKFIT clothes everywhere these past few months. Other music artists that have also been spotted rocking the style are: Rihanna, Trina, Game, Cory Gunz, Lil Twist, Mack Maine, Lil Chuckee, Flow, and more!

Lil Wayne Is Not Working On A “No Ceilings 2” Mixtape, Instead Working On A “Dedication 4” Or “Da Drought 4” Tape!

Either Lil Wayne changed his mind, or DJ Scoob Doo screwed up his tweet yesterday when he said he heard a second installment of a certain mixtape is about to be in the works. We all thought Wayne was going to start work on No Ceilings 2, but it now looks like the mixtape is either going to be Da Drought 4 or Dedication 4 because Scoob Doo just tweeted this: “And I heard that mixtape is a 4th installment and not a 2nd ‪#breadoverbed”. So the good news is that Weezy F Baby is still starting work on a mixtape for us fans before he drops his I Am Not A Human Being II album later this year, but it will not be No Ceilings II like most of us had hoped. Personally, I think it might be Dedication 4 because the DJ who hosts the Dedication series, DJ Drama, his latest tweet says: “Wow, homie just did “burn”. That tape gon be crazy”. I have no idea if he is talking about Tunechi, but I hope so, because that instrumental is a banger! Also, Mack Maine did confirm that there would be a Dedication 4 tape back in 2010 when Weezy was locked up. Anyways, which mixtape would you want next from Tune Da Drought 4 or Dedication 4

Is Lil Wayne About To Work On A “No Ceilings II” Mixtape?

This has not been officially confirmed, but it does look like Lil Wayne is about to start work on a new mixtape and it’s most likely going to be No Ceilings II. Weezy‘s official videographer, DJ Scoob Doo, tweeted this last night: “I heard a 2nd installment of a certain Mixtape is about to be in the works. ‪#breadoverbed‬”. He could of been talking about any music artist, but because he is always around Wayne and put “#breadoverbed‬” at the end of his tweet makes me think that it is indeed going to be Weezy F Baby. Also, Scoob Doo mentioned that it will be a “2nd installment of a certain Mixtape”, so this means it will not be a mixtape with a new title and it can’t be a mixtape in Da Drought or Dedication series, due to we have already had the third mixtape from those! I also can’t see it being a The Prefix II or The Suffix II as they are quite old now, and it can’t be a Sorry 4 The Wait II because Tunechi has nothing to be sorry for… well until Cortez Bryant decides to push back I Am Not A Human Being II More news that it could be a No Ceilings II mixtape is on Tune‘s Twitter page. His latest tweet is a retweet of a fan calling No Ceilings Wayne‘s best work ever: “@LilTunechi’s No Ceilings is the greatest work of rap ever. Just listen to the rhymes and word play. Every single line is amazing.” I am sure every Lil Wayne fan is excited about this news if it does turn out to be true, which I am pretty sure it will be. Leave a comment below with what beats you would like to see Weezy destroy on No Ceilings II.

Lil Wayne Watches 2012 X Games With David Beckham & Tony Hawk [Pictures]

Check out some photos in this post of Lil Wayne attending and watching the 2012 X Games (an annual sports event) in Los Angeles, California on July 1st. Weezy was sitting next to David Beckham and took a few photos with Sal Masekela and professional skateboarder Anthony Frank Hawk aka Tony Hawk. This is also the reason why Tune was not in attendance at the 2012 BET Awards with his YMCMB family, in case of you was wondering about that.

While attending the 2012 X Games in Los Angeles on Sunday, Lil Wayne participated in a live online chat with his fans and answered just over 40 questions. Some of the questions that were submitted to Weezy were useful and interesting, but there were a few people who wasted a good opportunity to ask Tune a good question and instead asked dumb questions such as “how old are you?“. The two highlights from this interview are that Tunechi said he will record more collaborations with Eminem in the future and Tha Carter V will most likely drop next year. You can read the full chat with Wayne and his fans below: ESPN: And here we are!!! Yo Weezy, what’s happening? Weezy: Chillin! Casey (norfolk va): When did you get your interest in sk8tin? Weezy: About a year ago. Saw some footage of Alex Midler, he was about 9. He was motivational and made me want to do it myself. Kenny Gomez (Bayonne New Jersey): What’s up Weezy! Big fan! I was just wondering what do you like most about skateboarding besides the style? ESPN: Hey sorry everybody. Sal Masekla just brought his Mom over to meet Lil Wayne. Serenityy (Slidell Lousiana): Lil Wayne, your a greattttt rapper and I love your music and your a great skater and you should do some more music with Eminem soon. Yay, thanks Weezy: Thank you- I will. Anthony Rodriguez (xgames): What is the trick you always tried to land?? Weezy: Since the day I pick up a skateboard I alway try kickflips. I got the flick I just need to land on the board. Canice (Houston): Who is the best skater you have seen? Weezy: Personally with my on eye would have to be Nyjah and Paul. Robriguez G (South Carolina): Would you ever challenge Tony Hawk in skating? Weezy: I would never challenge Tony Hawk in skating! Branden Schwarztrauber (Osceola WI): Hey how well do u think Nyjah Huston will do with the bad knee. Also do you think that Sheckler will make podeum. Weezy: I think Nyjah will still do well even with the knee. I still think he’ll take it. But I think Sheckler and Paul will podium. Matt (SLC): Do you think you should start your own skate contest like what Rob Dydrek did??? Weezy: That’s the plan. Stevo Burrito (TEXAS): Weezy can I get a shout out to Texas Weezy: Shout out to Texas! Hayden Crutchfield (North Carolina): How old are you? Weezy: I’m 29. Chris Haack (Allenton, Wisconsin): I am from Wisconsin so of course I’m a Packers fan! I heard you were too and I was wondering who your favorite Packer’s player is. I also love to skateboard, what’s your favorite trick? Weezy: My favorite Packers player of all time is Sterling Sharpe, right now Aaron Rogers and my all time fav is of course Brett Favre. And my favorite trick is the fakie pop shov-it. Mike Hernandez (JACKSONVILLE fl): Tunechi how about your own skating video game? Weezy: I don’t know about video games– ha ha. Devaun (San jose): What was the last trick that you learned? Weezy: The last trick I learned was frontside 180s. Daniel Schletzer (Delano, MN): Lil Wayne, you are my hero. your a great rapper and a great skater. thanks Weezy: That’s awesome! I appreciate that! Jake Knudsen (shelton,Washington): Hey weezy what is your favorite thing about xgames and when is carter 5 coming out Weezy: X Games is a higher level of competition- I’ve been to a few other contest and this one is the best. Carter 5 will come most likely next year. William (Usa): Have you ever tried mountain boarding? And your pretty good at skateboarding! Weezy: Thanks! Never tried mountain biking but when I was younger I had a mountain bike. Luke (Lancaster, PA): You’re a beast Weezy. Favorite sports to watch? Weezy: Football. Favorite to watch live is basketball. William (norcross): How many awards do you think your going to win tonight Weezy: I don’t know- I don’t know how many I’m nominated for- I’m not even going. I came out here for the X Games. Tyler (Milwaukee): What do you prefer: street or vert skating? Weezy: I prefer vert more because I learned vert. But now I’m learning more street- but if I had to show off it would be vert. Sam (Burlington NC): You think you could handle the mega ramp? Weezy: I saw it with my own eyes and I think I can. It doesn’t look that big. Matt (SLC): You should headline your own concert at X-Games…like Linkin Park did this year! Cause you represent skating better than anyone in the music game! Weezy: I should- you’re right I should. Myz (valley): What was the worst injury you got from skating? Weezy: Broke my clavicle two months ago. The injuring is know how long it’s going to be till you skate again. Jada Sell (Buffalo): Do you have pets? Weezy: I do. I have 3 sharks- and that’s about it. Brittany (KC MO): How’s the X games? They look sick, have you skated with any of the pros? Weezy: I skated with most of these guys. This is my first X Games and it’s sick. Brandon BIZ (HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA): Yo weezy…….any new collaborations coming up with artists you’ve never worked with before?!?! i am a producer and would love to send you a beat or 2!!!!! Weezy: I’m sure that beat would be awesome. In the future I’m working with a whole bunch of artists. Dee (WA State): Have you tried to get any other rappers to skate? Weezy: No. Skating is such an individual thing, it’s not something you can talk people into. Blalock (ky): WHO’s your favorite metal band? Weezy: Right now I’m big into Anthrax. Kahari Vidro (Grand Rapids, MI): Have you skated the X games course? Weezy: No I haven’t but would love to though. Joey Benedetto (Liverpool, NY): If you were to invent a new trick, what would u call it? Weezy: Probably “The Weezy”. Weezy: Weezy flip. Robriguez G (South Carolina): Would we ever see Lil Wayne the golfer? Weezy: Maybe- I’m into golf but I’ve never tried it. Troy Lacerte (Dover, NH): When does your shoe come out? Weezy: I just signed with Supra- I’m putting out Stevie Williams shoe first and mine will be next year. Chris R (Illinois): Do you ever see yourself being a pro skater in the future if time allows? Weezy: If time allows- you answer the question for me- it’s something I really want to do. TShep (NC): Do you look for new up coming rappers? Weezy: I don’t look for them- no. Victoria Tartaglino (West Hartland, CT): When you were younger did you ever think you would become this famous? Weezy: Nope- not at all. Cody Farris (Alabama): Hey Lil Wayne, what did you think about the Alabama/LSU championship game this year? Weezy: It was a good game- I wanted LSU to do it. Logan L. (Erie,MI): When you were a kid what did you wanna be when you got older??? Weezy: A rapper. Mike (Jacksonville): Collaboration with any Spanish artist? Who would it be? besides Romeo Santos? Weezy: Gloria Estivan. William (norcross): What’s the name of the new Young Money artist? Weezy: There’s a few of them: we the future, there’s a kid name Torion, PJ Morton and others. Dan Duprel (Colorado): Fav famous person to be around? Weezy: I’d have to say that would be Mike Tyson. Logan L. (Erie,MI): Did your parents ever not approve of you being a rapper? Weezy: Yep- sure did. I had to prove to them that it was actually worth it. Kahari Vidro (Grand Rapids, MI): Is Trukfit gonna sponsor athletes? Weezy: Yes we are- skaters first and a lot of football and basketball players that want to support the line. ESPN: OK X world, that’s it for Lil Wayne.

Tyga brought out Lil Wayne to perform “Faded” and “The Motto” live at Power 106′s 2012 PowerHouse concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on June 23rd. Weezy came out for his verse on “Faded“, but I think he might have forgot the lyrics because he didn’t rap it, he was just jumping around on stage haha. T-Raw and Wayne did end up performing “Faded” again from the beginning, this time with no mistakes. Also, just before Tune exited the stage, he showed off a new dance he calls the “Chris Bosh Dance”

Above, Lil Wayne speaks to MTV about his forthcoming I Am Not A Human Being II album that will be released at the end of the summer. Weezy says the difference between this album and his first I Am Not A Human Being album, which was released in 2010 while he was locked up behind bars, is the fact that the music was not rushed. He will also be able to support and promote this album more, because he can shoot music videos whenever he wants to. “I Am Not A Human Being II, that’s what I’m workin’ on right now, actually I’m finished. The difference between this album and the last I Am Not A Human Being would be the music wasn’t rushed. Last time the music was rushed because I had to take that eight-month vacation on that island so we had rushed the music, but this time we didn’t rush the music.” “I paid attention to everything I did,” he said. “You’re getting the quality of all my albums: Tha Carter IV, Tha Carter III, the same with this I Am Not A Human Being II. Hope you like it.”

Lil Wayne Achieves His 100th Entry On Billboard’s Chart x Featured On T.I.’s Upcoming Single

French Montana’s “Pop That” single featuring Lil Wayne and others has entered the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at #57, which makes this Weezy‘s 100th entry on the chart. This is a big achievement for Tunechi as he is only the third music artist and second rapper to hit the 100th mark! He has 31 solo tracks and has been featured on 69 records that have appeared on Billboard‘s chart to bring his total to 100. In other Wayne news, he will be featured on T.I.‘s upcoming single called “Ball” that will premiere any day now. The song, which was produced by Rico Love and Early & E, will supposedly be a “club-banger”. Lil Wayne, the ubiquitous rapper and founder of Young Money Entertainment, earns his 100th entry on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. By joining Rick Ross and Drake as featured artists on French Montana’s “Pop That,” the track arrives as the chart’s top debut at No. 57. Weezy is just the third artist and second rapper to achieve the astronomical feat dating to the first incarnation of Billboard’s R&B chart (the “Harlem Hit Parade”) in 1942. Jay-Z leads all rappers with 108 chart titles. Among all artists, the pair trails only James Brown, who’s banked 111 entries between 1956 and 1993. Of his 100 charted titles, Lil Wayne has been the lead act on 31 and been featured on 69. (Jay-Z has led on 69 of his 108 hits and been featured on 39.) New Orleans-born Lil Wayne’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs history spans 13 years and one month. The week of May 31, 1999, a then-16-year-old Dwayne Carter made his first appearance on Juvenile’s “Back That Thang Up,” also featuring Mannie Fresh. The song went on to peak at No. 5, becoming Lil Wayne’s first of 29 top 10s. He’s tied with Ludacris for the most top 10s in the chart’s archives among rappers. Jay-Z took slightly longer to make his 100th R&B/Hip-Hop Songs visit: 14 years, 10 months and one week between 1996 and 2011. Of his 100 charted songs, Lil Wayne has sent eight to No. 1. Among rappers, only Weezy’s protégé Drake and Jay-Z, each with nine, have more. On the Billboard Hot 100, which, since its 1958 launch, has ranked songs’ weekly popularity among all genres, Lil Wayne boasts the third-most entries (102). The cast of Fox’s “Glee” leads with 203 titles, followed by Elvis Presley (108) – Billboard

Lil Wayne Moves On From His Beef With Pusha T, Says He Has Finished Recording New Album

The Associated Press interviewed Lil Wayne at Macy’s store in Los Angeles earlier this month to talk about his beef with Pusha T, if he considers himself to be the most stylish rapper around, why he loves skateboarding, how he started his TRUKFIT clothing line, how he handles his business, and more. Weezy says he plans to move on from his “reaction” with Pusha T because he has fashion and his other businesses that he needs to be puting his mind on. He also mentioned that he has finished recording his I Am Not A Human Being II album and has already started work on the new Young Money album. I wonder when we will get a release date for Wayne‘s sequel to his 2010 album, I Am Not A Human Being, and I also wonder if Pusha did respond to Tunechi‘s “Goulish” song, would Tune then put his concentration back to this “beef” Anyways, you can read the full interview below: AP: What’s next musically? And what happened in the beef between you and Pusha T? Lil Wayne: I just finished recording my “I Am Not a Human Being II” album. And we’re starting to work on the Young Money album. … It really wasn’t no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don’t apologize for it because I’m human. But it was just my human reaction. I don’t take it back. But there’s no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. … I’ll move on. AP: Do you consider yourself the most stylish rapper out there? How has your style evolved? LW: I do not consider myself the most stylish rapper out there. I’d say if I had to consider someone the most stylish rapper out there, I would definitely say that would be a Kanye West or a Andre 3000. … Yes it (my style) has evolved because I was one of the guys that would “geek chic” it every now and then. … Now I’m just more into whatever works for me. I think that’s just age. AP: What do you bring to skateboarding and why do you like it? LW: Skating has so many styles. Once you pick up a skateboard, you’ll find out that it’s not a hobby, it’s not a sport, it’s a lifestyle. There’s so many styles to it that people enjoy that I bring a new one. … I love a challenge. … It’s fun as hell to fall and to not get something and then to finally land it. That’s like pursuing a girl that said no a hundred times and she finally say yeah. That’s what it feels like every single time. AP: How did you start a clothing line? LW: It was brought to me by my friends and peers. They was like, “Dude, you dress your own way and people follow that. You probably should have your own clothing line.” And it was just that easy. AP: You also have a soda endorsement deal but don’t come across as a businessman like some of your peers. Do you deliberately keep it separated from your public persona? LW: When it comes to me, myself, I’m very free-spirited, so that’s what you see, and that’s what you get – you as in the public eye. But when it comes down to business, I believe that business shouldn’t be done in the public’s eye anyway. And I believe that business shouldn’t be handled in the magazines anyway. Business should be handled in the room amongst the people you’re doing business with. And that’s how I handle my business. And once I come out of that room, I’m back to being who I am. And that’s why I don’t come off as the businessman or nothing, but at the end of the day you can always say: “… This guy’s stock keeps rising and there is no driving force behind it but him.” AP: Are your business ambitions greater than your music ambitions? LW: I can honestly say my music is always going to be greater than my business side. Because I’m naturally a musician. And I don’t have to get paid, I don’t even have to have businesses. I will still do music. So that will always be my greater thing. … Business is business. And music is life. AP: This is presidential campaign season. Do you plan to get political at all? Do you plan to go out and encourage kids to vote? LW: I do. … And that comes from age, and that comes from my vacation on Rikers Island (the New York City jail where Wayne did time in in 2010). Now that I know how important voting and elections and all that is. … But everybody know that life is going to be life regardless of who is president.
